Our Journey
Dawn Bove, founder and CEO of Date to Care Incorporated, grew up in Nepal with her parents who served as medical volunteers at a TEAM hospital in far western Nepal.  At the age of 16, Dawn was asked to transport two recent orphans from Nepal to India. The only way to do so was on foot so she carried three-year-old "Prem", a child of deceased leprous parents, on her back 100 miles through the mountains for three days before safely delivering him and his sister to the orphange.

This event came full circle when Dawn returned to Nepal in 2003 as a short-term volunteer herself.  Through a series of God ordained cicumstances, she was reunited with Prem, now a grown man, to serve impoverished Nepali people. Dawn then decided to create Dare to Care that now ministers to not only orphans but many other destitute people groups.
