Orphanage
Dare to Care currently has one orphanage called Serve Life Children's Home in Kathmandu which opened in 2003. This orphanage assists the needy or victimized children of that area. It is well-kept by a committed family who take pride in taking the children into their home and integrating them into a loving family.
As God provides the
resources, we will
expand this ministry
to include a farm for
the children to learn
agricultural skills, as
well as animal
husbandry, masonry
and carpentry. When
it is complete, the
orphanage also
educates the children and provides vocational training. We hope this will eventually become a resource center for the entire community and that other towns will want to emmulate this mini-village concept.
A nominal monthly donation cares for the needs of one child. This includes food, shelter, school uniforms, books, school fees and basic medical needs.
